“You know…it is called ‘mom’ jeans right?”
Here I am trembling with enthusiasm and happiness. During the last couple of weeks I have been confronted with some challenges, which required the knowledge I have build during the last couple of years in order to be solved. To be honest, I am embracing these challenges, because at the end I will be a stronger and wiser person.
I am realizing that each bad situation brings new opportunities, but it also allows you to take a clear look at your behavior and the attitude of others. Besides, inconveniences are caused by your past actions and by clearly reflecting on how you could have prevent something will allow you to gain learnings.
But enough about these challenges, you are here to gain some inspiration on how you could wear ‘mom’ jeans. This post will be convenient for those who bought this type of trousers, but ended up not wearing them.
During the last couple of months I have been searching for some mom jeans (I actually like to call them ‘momma’ jeans). Two months ago, I asked a sales person at the H&M store whether they were going to have them in stock any time soon.
“No, these trousers are not trendy anymore” she answered.
I continued my search and found my dream pants at Monki. They are quite short and therefore people often do not consider the purchase. However, there are so many ways you can still rock these pants during the colder seasons. It is not very cold in the Netherlands yet, therefore I wore my Dr. Martens. I wore my white crop top and my oversized trenchcoat.
What do you think?
